Treat Women With Respect- Make A Promise

Women have always played an important role in improving the conditions of the society. Woman is the eye of this world, woman is the mother of this world, and woman is the symbol of sacrifices. An educated lady makes whole world educated. If a man is educated then only one or two persons might be educated, but if woman is educated, then the entire family will be educated. There is saying in Sanskrit “yatra naryastu pujyante ramante tatra devata”, means Gods live in the place where, women are respected. It means, Gods will not live in India as there is no respect for women in the land of “Mother India”!

By looking at the today’s scenario, I doubt Am I in the same India, where women are used to treat as Goddesses? Forget about Goddess, they are not even treated as humans! The recent studies in India say that

•  In India, 1 crime is committed against women every 3 minutes.

• 1 Molestation case every 15 minutes

•   1 Sexual Harassment Case every 53 minutes

• 4 out of 10 women have experienced violence at home
